KS3 visit to The Peoples Memorial Museum

On Friday 16th November a group of KS3 students visited the Peoples Memorial Museum in Hull known as 'The Hull Trench and Officers Dug out.'
Students were given first hand expeprience of a lookout posts over 'no mans land' in WW1 and discussed the experience of war with some very knowledgable staff at the museum. The highlight of the visit was the handling of the WW2 Bren Gun and more modern weapons. A great visit enjoyed by all involved and certainly a valued addition to the thematic learning of this term's theme - WW1 Remembrance.
