Careers Cafes Employer & Educational Institution Visits
Throughout the year our careers team organise different events inviting external organisations into the Academy, including:
- Universities
- Colleges
- Local Businesses
- Apprenticeship Providers
These will be announced via our Twitter page and the St Wilfrid’s Academy website.

Provider Access Policy (Baker Clause)
As a Trust, we have key aims to ensure the life chances of our students. These are to raise the aspirations of our students and to engage their parents, careers and families in this process.
Learners will have the opportunity to interact with Employers, Colleges, Universities and Apprenticeship Providers, such as DHL, Polypipe, South Yorkshire Police & Fire Services, The Armed Forces and Universities and Colleges from across the region. This is the chance for our learners to ask the important questions for their next steps, curriculum choices for GCSE, A Level and careers and destinations at Post 16 and 18.
