The intent of our HUB is Teaching, Assessment and Therapy.
Our team consists of Primary and Secondary teachers, a therapist, Thrive practitioners and experienced Personal learning advocates (PLAs).
Students are admitted to the HUB for academic and Social Emotional Assessment and programmes are put in place to support identified needs of individual students. We also produce detailed assessment overviews containing information to support students and their home schools on their return.
Our curriculum is flexible and planned to meet the needs of our students with close attention paid to removing barriers to learning and developing positive attitudes and engagement in learning.
Relationships are key and staff work closely with students and parents to support their well being and academic progress.
